Senior Managing Director
Head of UK & Ireland Client Coverage, Europe, State Street Investment Management
What you will be responsible for:
Client Coverage Leadership
• Leverage sales management expertise to collaborate and drive execution of the Europe sales strategy designed to grow our business and ensure the UK and Ireland distribution team achieves its financial targets across all client channels.
• Manage sales and relationship management resources across UK and Ireland; define sales goals across the different teams and drive results.
• Enhance the sales footprint for increased collaboration and contribution to sales results.
• Identify opportunities in UK and Ireland to grow the business and collaborate closely with the Sales strategy team to drive sales initiatives to accelerate delivery of sales targets.
• Build on SSIM leadership position to provide differentiated solutions to investors
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to help drive efficiency and quality interactions with our client base.
• Provide first-line leadership on client engagement issues
• Work with the Client Coverage Strategy and Operations function to ensure that the infrastructure required to support our clients, sales teams and relationship management teams are appropriate
Governance and risk excellence
• Ensure robust governance and compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory obligations
• Ensure a control environment that supports a compliance and risk culture
Organisational leadership
• Lead collaboration across State Street Bank divisions to promote the franchise and create a strong outcome for our clients
• Identify opportunities to partner with Institutional Services and Global Markets divisions to develop and deliver “One State Street” solutions to clients
• Contribute to State Street IM and STT organisational culture, fiduciary mindset and improve employee experience
• Foster a culture of speaking up when there is an issue and group accountability
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement

Additional requirements:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience selling to and/or servicing institutions
• 7+ years of meaningful sales leadership experience, including success positioning active strategies and exceeding growth targets
• Experience in an Investment Management organisation, with knowledge in sales management practices
• Experience in dealing with institutional and intermediaries business in UK and Ireland
• Track record of building complex solutions with and for clients, including active and multi-asset class strategies
