Head of Strategic Procurement (m/f/d) you will take responsibility for our global sourcing management and lead a growing, highly skilled procurement team. Together with currently nine team members, you will shape a high-performance purchasing organization and make a significant contribution to the advancement of our drone technologies. You will work closely with stakeholders from Engineering, Product Management, and Logistics to ensure our products are delivered to customers on time and in the right quality. With your excellence in strategic procurement, you will help Quantum Systems achieve its mission of making unmanned systems the benchmark for data-acquisition solutions.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Leadership & Organization
• Lead and further develop a high-performing procurement organization.
• Strategically plan, prioritize, and manage all purchasing activities.
• Professionalize and continuously optimize procurement processes, tools, and KPIs
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Develop and implement global category strategies for complex high-tech components.
• Lead demanding contract negotiations covering pricing, service levels, quality, and delivery terms.
• Conclude and manage international framework agreements and build strategic supplier partnerships.
• Oversee global supplier management, including risk analyses, performance monitoring, and escalation handling.
Steering & Optimization
• Analyze international procurement markets and identify cost-saving and quality-improvement opportunities.
• Implement sustainable TCO optimizations while considering supply-chain risks and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely across functions, including Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.
• Take responsibility for KPIs and budgets, including forecasting and procurement reporting.
