About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Solutioning & Core Payments to lead the evolution of EveryPay’s core payment products and client solutioning.
This is a strategic and execution-focused role at the heart of our growth engine. You will own how our products are designed, packaged, and delivered to market, ensuring seamless integration for clients while accelerating revenue generation and product adoption.
You will shape the end-to-end solutioning strategy across acquiring, APMs and internal tooling, bridging Product, Technology, Commercial, and Operations teams. Your mission is to scale our product footprint, improve conversion and time-to-live, and unlock new GMV growth opportunities.
What You Will Do
1. Core Payments & Solutioning Ownership
• Define and lead the solutioning strategy across acquiring and APMs
• Translate product capabilities into scalable, client-ready solutions and integration models
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from pre-sales solution design to post-launch optimization
• Drive standardization vs customization decisions to balance scalability and client needs
• Ensure best-in-class CP/CNP payment flows across eCommerce, POS, and omnichannel experiences
• Drive continuous improvement of integration frameworks, APIs, and developer experience
2. Growth, GTM & Revenue Enablement
• Partner with Commercial teams to convert pipeline into revenue, improving win rates and deal velocity
• Design and execute growth initiatives that expand market share and increase GMV
• Support strategic clients and complex deals through hands-on solution architecture and advisory
• Act as a key voice in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and product positioning
4. Cross-functional Leadership & Execution
• Own prioritization and execution across Technology, Product, Design, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Sales
• Define and track OKRs and KPIs (e.g., onboarding time, activation rates, integration success, revenue ramp)
• Identify delivery risks early and drive structured problem-solving and mitigation plans
• Lead and grow a high-performing Solutions / Implementation function
5. Client-Centric Solutioning
• Deeply understand client payment flows through pre-sales engagement and technical discovery
• Translate complex requirements into clear BRDs, solution architectures, and implementation plans
• Guide clients through onboarding and integration with a focus on time-to-revenue and scalability
6. Risk, Compliance & Operational Excellence
• Ensure all solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks
• Embed compliance-by-design in onboarding and product implementation processes
• Continuously improve internal processes to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability
What You Bring
Experience & Domain Expertise
• 7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, with strong exposure to:
• Acquiring (CP & CNP)
• Payment gateways / orchestration
• Wallets and digital payments (optional)
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through solutioning and client delivery
• Experience working with mid-market and enterprise clients
Leadership & Execution
• Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex initiatives
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Technical & Product Understanding
• Solid understanding of:
• Payment flows and authorization lifecycle
• APIs, integrations, and system architecture
• eCommerce and POS ecosystems
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions and documentation (BRDs, flows, user stories)
Commercial & Stakeholder Skills
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to bridge business, product, and technology
• Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
Personal Attributes
• Strategic thinker with a strong execution bias
• Highly collaborative, with a team-first mindset
• Structured problem solver with attention to detail
• Energetic, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity
Nice to Have
• Experience with SEPA, DIAS, or European payment schemes
