Head of Solution Engineering (all genders)

Your role:
As Head of Solution Engineering (all genders), you will be responsible for a new business unit at our company. From hiring to personnel and budget responsibility to content and operational responsibility, you will be in the lead. You and your team will advise potential and existing customers in the early clarification and project phases to enable maximum project success and smooth scaling of modern intralogistics. The focus of your work will be on the question “How can we best meet customer requirements with minimal customization?” To this end, you will work with the team to develop procedural and technical solution concepts and present customers with solution options, including all advantages and disadvantages.

Your mission:
• You will head up the business unit responsible for designing intralogistics concepts and supporting our customers as a strategic partner in scaling their intralogistics.
• You will build and develop a high-performing team with the aim of making a key contribution to SYNAOS's success.
• You will develop solution and implementation concepts that enable our customers to achieve true scalability, efficiency, and future viability.
• You will accompany the introduction of these concepts and ensure that they are successfully put into practice.
• You will provide our customers with professional and technical advice, translate complex requirements, and support them in taking the next steps toward automated and digitized intralogistics.
• You will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success and create smooth transitions between all teams.

Your profile:
• Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, automation, industrial engineering, or comparable field.
• Several years of experience in intralogistics, ideally in concept development or process analysis.
• Ideally, initial experience in leading and developing teams, as well as excellent communication and networking skills that enable you to build long-term, effective relationships.
• Very good understanding of intralogistics methods and automated logistics systems.
• Interest in technologies such as mobile robots, automated material flows, and software architectures.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
• Business fluent German and English skills. 
• Willingness to travel to our customers, partners, and events.
