A leading software business in the heart of Exeter is actively seeking to hire a Head of Software Development. This is a full-time permanent role that attracts an excellent salary, bonus and superb benefits.

Reporting directly into the CTO and working closely with all teams, you will be responsible for all aspects that a 'head of' would undertake, such as;
• Defining strategy for the business
• The overall technical direction
• Providing operational strategy 
• Analysing and defining processes
• Working collaboratively with Pre-sales & sales to ensure equal focus
• Providing a strong technical direction in-line with the companies vision 

You will need to have previously worked in a head of role and will have/be;

• Experienced in software management/leading teams
• Strong working Agile practices
• Understanding of compliance and audits
• Degree educated
• Board level stake holder management skills
• Budget management 
• Experience of modern cloud environments
