Head of Projects

We have an open position as Head of Projects where the role will be a part of the senior management team for SES Aviation Services.

The office location for the role will be at our offices in Hanaleite, Sveio where the role holder will be working closely with the project and engineering team.

The role:

Head of Projects will play a key role in supporting the growth of SES’s Aviation Services division. To succeed, the candidate should have a strong eye for attention to details and preferably have a background in aviation services. The candidate should also be a leader who knows what it takes to get the best out of every team member and be good at meeting deadlines.

Further responsibilities would be to:

Drive and manage projects from start to finish

Lead a team of project managers, engineers

Responsible for supply chain

Maintain and improve processes and procedures related to projects, engineering and supply chain

Manage product profitability, improvements and standardization

Work closely with the Commercial team

Who we’re looking for:

You have a proven track record for managing and succeeding with project management

Preferably you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering

You like to be in charge and to take the lead

You have experience from offshore or marine environment, or you have a good technical background in manufacturing or aviation services

You have a structured mindset

You are used to reading project specifications, classification society rules and guidelines

You are a strong communicator and influencer

You are good at developing professional relationships with clients (both internal and external)

You have a good skillset when it comes to writing emails and using Microsoft applications like Word, Excel & PowerPoint

You are willing to travel from time to time
