Job Description
Who we are
We are a deep-tech cybersecurity company building advanced cryptographic products that help organizations discover, manage, govern, and transition their cryptographic assets in an increasingly regulated and post-quantum world.
Our products are deployed in complex enterprise, governmental, and security-critical environments where correctness, compliance, and long-term maintainability are non-negotiable. Product decisions directly influence customer security posture, regulatory readiness, and operational risk.
We are now looking for a Head of Product to own the product function end-to-end, from strategic vision and market positioning to execution, revenue impact, and lifecycle management. This is a hands-on doer role: you will personally drive delivery, write specifications and product assets, and actively support the field (pre-sales, demos, and key customer interactions).
On a daily basis, you will
This role is not only about defining strategy: you are expected to be hands-on and deliver outcomes, from writing specifications and product artefacts to supporting customer-facing initiatives.
Product Strategy (30%)
• Define and own the long-term product vision, positioning, and portfolio strategy, aligned with company goals and market evolution.
• Be accountable for the business success of the products, including pricing strategy, packaging, and revenue contribution.
• Build and maintain clear product business cases and investment rationales.
• Continuously monitor cryptography, cybersecurity, and regulatory trends (post-quantum transition, crypto-agility, inventories, compliance) and translate them into product opportunities.
• Ensure product alignment with relevant cryptographic standards, certifications, regulations, and best practices (e.g. NIST, ANSSI, ETSI, ISO), and anticipate upcoming changes.
Product Execution and decision authority (15%)
• Translate strategy into clear, prioritised roadmaps with full ownership over scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.
• Write and maintain user stories, functional definitions, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications (PRDs and functional/technical specs).
• Serve as the final decision-maker on product priorities, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, time-to-market, and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with R&D to frame problems, validate requirements, and ensure high product quality and consistency.
• Own the entire product lifecycle, including versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation, and end-of-life strategies.
• Define and manage migration and transition paths for customers, especially in the context of crypto-agility and post-quantum readiness.
Product Management and Product Marketing (25%)
• Own go-to-market execution in close coordination with Sales and Marketing: positioning, differentiation, messaging, and buyer journeys.
• Produce sales enablement assets for direct sales: pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, demos scripts, FAQs, and pricing/packaging materials.
• Produce sales tools and enablement kits for indirect sales / channels: partner pitch decks, channel playbooks, reseller training, and co-selling assets.
• Structure internal and external product documentation (quickstarts, release notes, change logs) to support scalability and customer autonomy.
Pre-sales support to Sales and Marketing (20%)
• Act as a direct interface with customers and prospects (including key accounts) during discovery and pre-sales cycles.
• Support Sales and Marketing with demos, presentations, product deep-dives, and contribution to RFP/RFI responses.
• Lead product discovery through hands-on customer engagement, workshops, and field feedback, and ensure learnings influence roadmap decisions.
• Represent CryptoNext in relevant industry events (conferences, webinars, and trade shows) when product expertise is required.
Organization, leadership, and enablement (10%)
• Define and implement robust product management methodologies (discovery, prioritization, feedback loops, metrics).
• Define and track product KPIs (adoption, usage, value delivered, revenue impact).
• Enable Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services through clear narratives, playbooks, and training.
• Build, lead, and grow the Product team as the company scales.
Technology Partnerships and Alliances (10%)
• Define and execute a technology partnership strategy to accelerate adoption, strengthen interoperability, and amplify go-to-market impact across the cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard strategic partners (technology vendors, platforms, integrators, and ecosystems) that increase product credibility and distribution in regulated environments.
• Drive partner-led product integrations and technical alignment: Own the partner operating rhythm and outcomes: pipeline influence, partner-sourced opportunities, integration adoption, deal acceleration, and feedback loops into the roadmap.
