The Trading Pit is a global prop trading firm serving retail traders across multiple asset classes in more than 160 countries.

We are hiring a Head of Product to lead product strategy, roadmap, and execution across the trader experience. This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of how we scale from shaping priorities to improving decision-making, and drive stronger execution across product, engineering, risk, and commercial teams.

This role requires strong technical understanding. You will be expected to work credibly with engineering, understand platform and systems constraints, and use that knowledge to make sound product decisions that support both trader experience and business performance.

What you will own

Lead and develop the product function, including product managers and project managers.

Define product strategy and roadmap across the full trader journey, from acquisition and onboarding to trading, payouts, and retention.

Set clear priorities across customer experience, commercial goals, technical constraints, and risk controls.

Translate business objectives into clear product requirements, structured plans, and measurable outcomes.

Partner closely with engineering, risk, operations, and commercial teams to improve execution quality and delivery speed.

Use data, customer insight, and experimentation to improve activation, retention, and overall product performance.

Drive product decisions in critical areas including trader behaviour, payout flows, trust, platform integrity, and abuse prevention.

Build stronger product processes, operating rhythms, and decision frameworks as the company scales.

What we are looking for

Proven experience leading product teams and owning complex digital products in fast-moving environments.

Strong technical fluency, with the ability to understand systems, architecture, integrations, and engineering trade-offs, and translate that understanding into clear product decisions and execution.

Direct experience in prop trading, brokerage, fintech trading, or a closely related environment.

Strong understanding of trader behaviour, payout models, abuse risk, and the relationship between product design and risk exposure.

Strong commercial judgement and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance user value, operational realities, and business impact.

Clear communicator who can align technical and non-technical stakeholders around priorities, trade-offs, and execution.

Track record of bringing structure to ambiguity and turning strategy into delivery.

Preferred background

Experience working in regulated, high-trust, or risk-sensitive digital products.

Experience scaling product teams and cross-functional delivery in a growth-stage business.

Exposure to international markets and localisation across multiple geographies.

Experience across acquisition, conversion, retention, or subscription-led product models.
