Job Description - Head of Plus Propositions & Partnerships

We are looking for a passionate Head of Loyalty Propositions to help shape Deliveroo’s consumer loyalty strategy globally. A key company mission is to become a Plus-first business and this role will be central to ensuring the success of this objective. You’ll be responsible for defining and delivering new initiatives that drive long-term customer value and determining how to engage, grow and retain our most valued customers so that Deliveroo is always their go to brand. It’s a fast paced, data driven and highly cross functional business, so you’ll need to be creative in your approach, commercially savvy and highly collaborative.

What you’ll be doing

• Proposition development: Responsible for designing the right loyalty proposition for each global market; which includes understanding the consumer needs in each market, how well our existing loyalty propositions are serving them today, what competitors are offering, and how we should evolve our proposition which balances growing the programme with our short and long term financial objectives. Ownership of our newest Plus Diamond tier, launched in 2024, including performance tracking, global launches, and our Diamond Selection & Experiential pillar.

• Proposition ownership: Keep the loyalty proposition in each market under constant review, conduct regular analyses to ensure it is meeting our business objectives and our customers’ needs; understand changes to competitor programmes and disseminate that information; make recommendations on any changes that are required - e.g. to the proposition/benefits or to the fees/price. You will also work closely with teams at DashPass and Wolt+.

• Go-to-market: Lead and execute the end-to-end go-to-market strategies for Loyalty proposition initiatives/re-launches as well as new product feature launches at a global level, for our most valuable customers. Identify and engage with key GTM functions that are required to take initiatives to market, including, Legal, Customer Care, Product, and Marketing, ensuring target delivery dates are consistently met.

• Proposition analysis: Monitor, analyse and share post launch performance, providing regular updates and insights to the Loyalty team, local market teams, partners, and wider business stakeholders, including our executive team.

• Partnerships strategy & development: Define and lead the global partnerships strategy for Plus, securing high-impact partners that enhance the value of our loyalty proposition and differentiate Deliveroo in the market. Develop compelling merchant-led benefits that drive acquisition, engagement and retention, while ensuring strong commercial outcomes.

• Global BD collaboration: Work closely with the DoorDash Global Business Development team to identify, prioritise and execute strategic partnerships. Support on the development of Joint Business Plans with key partners, aligning on shared objectives, investment plans and growth opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years experience, ideally in high growth consumer facing organisations

• Experience working in a matrixed organisation, ideally global, including working with product and insights teams, leading complex, cross-functional projects.

• Experienced in balancing the needs of multiple senior stakeholders, including HQ teams and country GMs.

• Experienced managing a small team of direct reports

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Be able to work independently

• Go-getter attitude with a metric-driven approach. Self-motivated, an optimist; someone who thrives in a dynamic environment
