Overview of the Role
The Head of People and Culture at VBP is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company’s people strategy in alignment with business goals. This role leads the People and Culture team to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment while driving employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will champion the company’s values and culture, promote employee well-being, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR and people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive people strategies that align with VBP's mission and objectives
• Lead and mentor the People and Culture team to deliver effective HR programs and initiatives
• Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts
• Shape and nurture company culture, promoting engagement, inclusion, and diversity
• Oversee performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders to support organizational change and business growth
• Analyze HR metrics and insights to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in senior HR leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive culture transformation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with HR analytics and using data to drive decisions
• Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
