About the Team
The Marketing function at GRVT operates as a strategic growth engine at the intersection of narrative, capital, and network effects. We shape how on-chain trading is understood, adopted, and scaled globally — across perpetuals, spot, options, and emerging investment networks.
We integrate brand, growth, and community into a unified operating system, partnering closely with Product, BD, and Design to drive measurable adoption. Our mandate is not just awareness — but market positioning, liquidity activation, and long-term ecosystem expansion within the Web3 and institutional landscape.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Head of Marketing who operates as a market strategist, narrative architect, and ecosystem builder — capable of translating product innovation into market dominance. This role requires both high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution, augmented by AI-native workflows.
1. GTM & Growth Strategy
• Own and orchestrate a global marketing strategy across brand, growth, content, and ecosystem expansion.
• Lead end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategies for token launches, major product releases, and platform milestones — from narrative design to liquidity and adoption outcomes.
• Architect and execute GRVT’s Token Generation Event (TGE) strategy as a top priority, spanning pre-launch positioning, exchange listings, and sustained post-TGE engagement.
• Design multi-phase campaign systems aligned with product, tokenomics, and partnership roadmaps to ensure precision in timing and messaging.
• Shape market understanding of token utility, governance, and staking mechanisms for a sophisticated DeFi audience.
2. Community, Liquidity & Network Effects (Upgraded)
• Design and scale GRVT’s community as a strategic growth and liquidity layer, not just a communication channel.
• Architect network effects across X (Twitter), Discord, Telegram, and emerging platforms — driving compounding engagement, retention, and on-chain participation.
• Build structured community systems (ambassador programs, contributor loops, incentive design) that convert users into advocates, liquidity providers, and long-term ecosystem participants.
• Lead high-impact activations (AMAs, campaigns, trading competitions, governance participation) tied directly to product adoption and capital inflows.
• Continuously optimise community signal quality, engagement depth, and conversion into trading and staking behaviours.
3. Brand, Narrative & Market Positioning
• Define and evolve GRVT’s positioning as a category-defining exchange at the intersection of self-custody, yield, and trading infrastructure.
• Craft high-conviction narratives that resonate across retail, institutional, and developer audiences.
• Lead a multi-channel content strategy that simplifies complex DeFi primitives into compelling, conversion-driven storytelling.
• Establish GRVT as a thought leader in on-chain trading, capital efficiency, and tokenized financial infrastructure.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Expansion
• Build and manage high-leverage relationships with KOLs, crypto media, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.
• Identify and execute co-marketing and co-liquidity opportunities with ecosystem partners, launchpads, and infrastructure players.
• Expand GRVT’s presence within the broader Web3 ecosystem, driving both brand credibility and user acquisition through partnerships.
5. Performance Marketing & Token Promotion
• Own the full performance marketing stack — including paid acquisition, SEO/SEM, and growth experimentation.
• Maintain rigorous tracking of CAC, LTV, activation, and retention metrics across all funnels.
• Lead coordinated token promotion strategies across community, content, paid, and partner channels.
• Build a culture of experimentation, analytics, and continuous optimisation.
6. Team & Operating System
• Build and lead a high-performance marketing organisation across growth, content, brand, and community functions.
• Establish a scalable marketing operating system — integrating planning, execution, analytics, and feedback loops.
• Drive cross-functional leadership and alignment across Product, BD, Design, and Leadership teams to ensure cohesive execution of GTM priorities.
• Lead complex, cross-regional marketing initiatives and act as the central owner of major strategic projects (e.g. TGE, product launches, ecosystem campaigns).
• Own and manage the global marketing budget, with clear reporting on ROI, growth impact, and strategic outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance speed, quality, and scalability across content, analytics, and campaign execution.
Who You Are
You are a Web3-native marketing leader who understands markets, narratives, and network effects at a fundamental level. You combine strategic clarity with executional excellence, and thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
Minimum Requirements
• Deeply embedded in the Web3 ecosystem, with strong understanding of DeFi, token markets, and on-chain user behaviour.
• 8–10 years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles within high-growth Web3 or crypto companies.
• Proven track record of leading successful TGE or token launch campaigns end-to-end.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-engagement communities across X, Discord, and Telegram.
• Hands-on experience in performance marketing and growth execution.
• Strong proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate marketing outcomes.
• Exceptional storytelling ability across retail, institutional, and developer audiences.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English, with experience operating across global/APAC markets.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience at a crypto exchange, DEX, or trading-focused DeFi protocol.
• Proven success scaling products across APAC and emerging Web3 markets.
• Strong existing network within KOLs, crypto media, and ecosystem partners.
• Experience building marketing functions from 0→1 in a startup environment.
