The Food Processing & Packaging (FPP) business unit delivers advanced solutions for food preparation, processing, slicing, packaging, and automation. Our technologies enable leading global food producers to operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Marketing plays a critical role in strengthening our global market position and supporting ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As Head of Marketing for the Food Processing & Packaging business unit, you will lead and further develop marketing as a key driver of commercial impact and business growth.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for the Pharma and Food Applications Division, you will translate divisional marketing strategy into impactful business unit marketing plans and execution. You will lead and develop the BU FPP marketing team, with direct reports across four international locations, and work in close alignment with Regional Marketers and Sales to ensure effective rollout and strong adoption of marketing initiatives in key regions. You will drive demand generation, strengthen market positioning, and ensure marketing contributes directly to pipeline and order intake.
You will operate in a matrix organization, working closely with Business Unit Leadership, Sales, and Product Management. Within the divisional framework, you will manage and optimize the BU marketing budget, define priorities, and ensure strong alignment with commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and develop the business unit marketing team, fostering a high-performing and growth-oriented culture.
• Develop and execute the BU Marketing plan in alignment with divisional strategy and business priorities.
• Drive global demand generation through integrated multi-channel campaigns, product launches, events, and digital marketing.
• Strengthen market positioning and support entry into new markets, segments, and product areas.
• Manage and optimize the BU marketing budget in alignment with strategic priorities and commercial targets.
• Define and track clear KPIs, measure marketing performance and ROI, and continuously optimize effectiveness.
• Provide market insights and marketing intelligence to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Product Management to align marketing with go-to-market strategies and growth objectives.
• Drive the professionalization of marketing processes, tools, and capabilities.
Your Profile / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Significant experience in a senior B2B marketing role, preferably in an international industrial or technology environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing international or culturally diverse teams.
• Strong leadership and people development skills, with the ability to build motivated and high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align marketing with commercial priorities and targets.
• Experience working in matrix organizations and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset, with experience measuring marketing performance and ROI.
• Strong understanding of modern B2B marketing, including demand generation, digital marketing, and marketing technologies.
• Fluency in English.
