About the team
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic person to lead the transformation of our lending operations into a digital-first model. This role will focus on business acquisition, strategy, and bridging traditional field operations with cutting-edge technology. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee large teams, manage high-impact projects, and collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to drive our digital transformation agenda and solve the field challenges into execution solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the transformation of microfinance lending operations into a digital model, focusing on strategy and execution.
• Manage business acquisition efforts and create strategic plans to grow and scale digital lending services.
• Bridge field operations and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of digital tools with on-ground initiatives.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to large teams
• Collaborate closely with the SVP of Lending to align lending and collections strategy with overall business goals.
• Drive end-to-end project management for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, particularly in digital banking and microfinance, to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and results within the lending team.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within digital banking, microfinance, consulting, with a focus on business acquisition, strategy, digital transformation and operational execution
• Strong background in project management, with the ability to lead complex transformation projects.
• Experience managing large teams and driving organizational change.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
• A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and fast - proactive execution
• Previous experience as a consultant, having transitioned to an in-house role in a digital banking or microfinance institution.
• A solid understanding of the microfinance and digital lending landscape.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multiple assignments and high-growth environment.
