Head of IT Competence Center Engineering Solutions

For our IT department located in 's-Hertogenbosch we are seeking a Head of IT Competence Center - Engineering Solutions.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Head of Competence Center – Engineering Solutions, you will:

• Drive the global strategy and execution of engineering IT solutions.

• Lead a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple countries.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product excellence teams globally, to align technology with business goals.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure secure and stable operations for GEAs engineering teams.

• Foster innovation, ensure compliance, and deliver operational excellence.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead the global IT strategy for engineering applications (CAD, PLM, technical documentation systems).

• Manage lifecycle, global rollouts, and vendor relationships for engineering IT solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering and product excellence teams to align technology with business needs.

• Ensure compliance with governance standards and drive innovation in engineering processes.

• Oversee budgets and deliver cost-effective, high-quality IT services globally.

Who you’ll work with:

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President Global IT (CIO).

• Collaborate with global engineering departments and product excellence teams.

• Lead and develop a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple countries.

• Work closely with vendors and strategic partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in IT application management, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

• Strong strategic, operational, and transformation experience in global environments.

• Excellent knowledge of engineering systems such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens Teamcenter.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
