Role Overview

The Regional Head of Public Partnerships is a senior post dedicated to building trusted, strategic relationships with governments, regulators, national institutions, and state-affiliated media across a defined region. This individual supports the elevation of SiGMA’s public credibility and visibility, ensuring official recognition of our summits and alignment with each country’s national innovation and investment agenda.

The role involves extensive engagement with public offices, securing official participation at SiGMA events, facilitating public-sector visibility through institutional platforms, and identifying opportunities for collaboration, sponsorship, and financial partnership from government entities.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Visibility & Editorial Collaboration

Secure the publication of officially approved content referencing SiGMA on government-affiliated platforms (e.g., ministry portals, economic agencies, regulatory bodies, chambers of commerce). Content may include event highlights, partnership features, or leadership articles approved by both parties. These collaborations must include formal reference to SiGMA Group and are subject to internal review.

Public-Sector Speaker & Delegation Engagement

Confirm participation of high-ranking public figures (Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Ambassadors, and Regulators) as keynote speakers, panellists, press conference participants, or featured guests. Oversee the invitation process, protocol management, and coordination with SiGMA’s conference and media teams.

Media Collaboration with National Broadcasters or Press

Coordinate with state-run broadcasters, government media departments, or national publications to secure interview opportunities, official news releases, or joint features related to SiGMA Summits and supported causes.

Governmental Sponsorship & Financial Incentives

Liaise with public sector departments to identify potential co-financing, sponsorship, or value-in-kind support for SiGMA Summits and side events (such as iGatherings, commercial delegations, or Ikigai Retreats). 

Ongoing Liaison & Reputation Management

Serve as the primary SiGMA contact for governmental delegations before, during, and after summits. Assist with correspondence, RSVP management, logistics, and public relations coordination to ensure a seamless, protocol-compliant guest experience.
