General Summary 

Orum Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Head of Finance Operations to join our growing global finance and accounting team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Orum’s accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, banking, insurance and risk management, payroll, stock plan administration, tax, and treasury functions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for partnering with executive leadership to communicate Orum’s financial performance, strategy, and vision to external stakeholders. 
The ideal candidate will bring extensive public company experience, with a strong preference for experience operating under KOSDAQ regulations. The successful candidate will combine deep technical financial expertise with exceptional communication skills to manage internal financial operations. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

Strategic Financial Planning & Treasury Management 

Develop mid- to long-term financial strategies and roadmaps aligned with industry dynamics and the business model 

Set up and execute proactive fundraising strategies based on cash runway scenario analysis 

Guide FP&A to support the company’s operations (including, but not limited to, R&D pipeline, HR operations, etc.) through efficient allocation of financial resources 

Oversee corporate treasury operations and establish disbursement guidelines 

Manage liquidity risk 

Financial Reporting & Compliance 

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting packages (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) 

Ensure full compliance with KOSDAQ rules and relevant global regulatory requirements 

Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors 

Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues 

Manage stock plan administration and the cap table 

Manage the company’s cash disbursement processes and bank balances 

Ensure compliance with the company’s investment policies 

Coordinate corporate tax provisions, reporting, and tax return preparation with outside accountants 

Accounting Operations 

Oversee the company’s accounting operations, including intercompany transactions 

Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls 

Financial Communications & Financial Disclosure 

Oversee financial communications and financial disclosure activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy, governance standards, and regulatory requirements 

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of finance-related information in all investor-facing materials, external financial communications, and public disclosures 

Partner with executive leadership and relevant internal teams to guide external financial messages 

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Lead, mentor, and coach the FP&A and Accounting teams, building a high-performance, results-driven culture 

Create and lead departmental goals that align with corporate strategic objectives 

Serve as a bridge between finance, investor relations, and other business units, effectively communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders 

Skills, Abilities & Competencies 

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 

10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, including leadership positions  

Strong working knowledge of KOSDAQ compliance and reporting requirements 

Exceptional communication skills in both English and Korean, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for varied audiences 

Collaborative leadership style with strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills 

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail 

Experience in public biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies is a plus

AP/AR, 결산, 원가회계 등 회계 운영 총괄

글로벌 법인 간 거래 관리 및 내부회계관리제도 고도화

투자자 및 대외 공시용 재무 커뮤니케이션 총괄

재무 정보의 정확성·일관성·규정준수 관리

경영진과 협업하여 대외 재무 메시지 방향성 수립

자격요건 

회계, 재무, 경영 등 관련 분야 학사 이상 학위 

10년 이상 재무 및 회계 관련 경력 (리더십 경험 포함)

KOSDAQ 회계·공시 규제에 대한 이해 및 실무 경험 

복잡한 재무정보를 명확하고 설득력 있게 전달할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 능력 

높은 윤리의식, 정확성, 책임감을 갖춘 조직 리더십 

비즈니스 영어 커뮤니케이션 능력 

우대사항 

바이오텍 또는 제약 산업에서의 재무·IR 경험  

금융기관, 자산운용사 등 투자자 네트워크 보유
