We are seeking a seasoned Head of EU Government Relations to lead our public policy and regulatory engagement strategy. Based in Brussels, this senior individual contributor role focuses on shaping legislative outcomes that impact cross-border e-commerce, digital trade, and platform regulation. Reporting to the Head of International Government Affairs, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging deep institutional knowledge and an extensive network to navigate a high-growth international environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute EU advocacy strategies covering digital platforms, customs reform, VAT, and product safety.
• Maintain direct relationships with the European Commission, European Parliament, Council, and Permanent Representations.
• Represent the company in industry associations and lead high-level meetings and strategic roundtables.
• Draft position papers, consultation responses, and proposed amendments to influence legislative outcomes.
• Anticipate regulatory risks and provide strategic briefings and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
• Translate complex EU regulatory developments into clear business impact analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and Business teams to ensure operational alignment with EU policy.
• Monitor political dynamics across EU institutions to ensure proactive engagement on emerging policy files.

Expected Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in EU public policy or government relations within tech or e-commerce.
• Direct experience working within or closely with EU institutions and institutional processes.
• Proven ability to operate independently and influence legislative outcomes at a senior level.
• Deep Brussels network with high institutional credibility across the EC, EP, and Council.
• Strong political judgment and the ability to translate policy into strategic business advice.
• Excellent drafting and analytical capabilities with strong executive presence.
• Professional fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and cross-border environment.
