Head of ERP Tech: Strategic Orchestration & Vision (m/f/d)

Our ERP Tech Department is the strategic engine behind our global financial and operational value chain. They design, govern, and optimize the SAP ecosystem—from the first customer order to the final financial report—to ensure a seamless, scalable, and data-driven environment that maintains absolute financial integrity.

They operate across three specialized pillars:

• ERP Product Management: The functional architects owning the roadmap for O2C, P2P, R2R, FI-CA, and FI-CO
• Master Data Management (MDM): The guardians of the "Golden Record," ensuring data consistency across all global modules
• Reporting & Analysis: The engines of insight, transforming raw transactional data into actionable business intelligence for the CFO and executive leadership

As Head of ERP Tech (m/f/d), you provide the holistic vision for our entire SAP ecosystem. While Product Managers lead individual domains, you are responsible for cross-module integration and long-term business alignment. You ensure that optimizations in one area, such as Procurement (P2P), do not create bottlenecks in another, such as Finance (R2R), maintaining a unified "macro-environment" that evolves with the company.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize the functional workstreams (O2C, R2R, P2P), MDM, and Reporting teams into a unified strategy that supports company-wide KPIs
• Serve as the primary bridge between executive leadership and functional teams to ensure investments are directed toward high-impact areas
• Standardize the "Shared Responsibilities" framework across all teams, ensuring consistent sprint management, UAT excellence, and developer coordination
• Lead and develop functional expert teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high-performance execution
• Oversee the SAP environment’s health, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and ready for future upgrades or migrations (e.g., "Clean Core" initiatives)

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, with significant experience in the "Run" and "Optimize" phases of the software lifecycle
• Deep understanding of end-to-end integration across O2C, R2R, and P2P, with the ability to resolve friction points where modules intersect
• Proven ability to maintain a standard SAP environment while managing enhancements and patches without compromising scalability
• Experience managing multi-domain roadmaps, balancing routine maintenance and compliance with business innovation
• Strategic partner to Finance and Accounting; able to translate complex accounting requirements into technical SAP solutions
• Experience in Agile or DevOps frameworks, focusing on continuous product improvement rather than static project delivery
• Proven track record of leading Functional Product Managers, MDM experts, and Data Analysts to maintain a "single source of truth"
