What You’ll Do
As Head of Engineering, you will own the technical backbone of our AI strategy. You won’t just manage a team — you will define how we build AI systems, make key architectural decisions, and ensure we ship fast and build for scale. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of backend engineering, AI systems, and platform design.
Key Responsibilities:
Define the technical vision
Design the architecture of our AI products including LLM-based agents, RAG systems, and multi-step workflows
Make key decisions on models and providers, orchestration frameworks, and infrastructure & deployment
Build & scale the platform
Design a modular, reusable AI platform
Enable fast development of new use cases
Ensure reliability, performance, and security
Drive Execution
Lead the delivery of multiple AI products
Set engineering standards including code quality, testing, CI/CD
Move fast from POC → MVP → production
Build and lead the team
Hire and grow a team of engineers
Define roles and ownership
Mentor and raise the bar
Qualifications:
Strong experience in backend / system design
Experience building production-grade systems
Ability to make architecture decisions in ambiguous environments
Hands-on mindset (you still code/design systems)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with LLMs / AI agents and RAG architectures
Experience building platforms or developer tools
