Requirements

• 10 years of experience in the software engineering space

• Experience in both corporate and startup environments

• Prior ownership in a Series A/B AI-driven startup

• Strong hands-on experience in backend or full-stack development

• Expertise in Python, React, Node.js

• Experience with AWS, MySQL, and DevOps practices

• Experience with LLMs, AI workflows, and production AI systems

• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and evaluation

• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and architecture

• Ability to lead teams and drive engineering excellence

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience with mobile tech (Kotlin, Swift) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-first systems, workflows, and user experiences

• Drive adoption of LLMs, agent-based systems, and automation

• Own end-to-end architecture across backend, frontend, mobile, and AI layers

• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability

• Manage AWS infrastructure, deployments, and cost optimization

• Build reliable AI production systems with monitoring and guardrails

• Lead and mentor the engineering team, set quality standards

• Hire and grow engineers with an AI-first mindset

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams

• Translate business needs into technical solutions

• Participate in roadmap planning and technical decision-making

• Ensure responsible AI usage (privacy, reliability, trust)

• Contribute to tooling, vendor, and infrastructure decisions
