About EnterpriseAlumni:
EnterpriseAlumni isn't your average software company. We're the market-leading provider of Corporate Alumni Management software, helping some of the world’s biggest brands stay connected with their alumni. Our platform is a powerhouse, driving recruiting efforts, sales opportunities, and brand advocates back into our clients' organizations whilst creating a strong alumni value proposition.
About the Role:
We're looking for a seasoned Head of DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure to lead our infrastructure strategy and team. This is a remote role requiring the candidate to be located in Brazil. You’ll spend roughly half your time on hands-on technical work and half on people leadership.
You'll own the reliability, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure, supporting a white-label platform that serves large enterprise clients in highly regulated industries. You'll work closely with the CTO and collaborate directly with our development teams to ensure infrastructure decisions enable our production reliability, availability, and velocity. You’ll also be involved in long term product and infrastructure strategy.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
Architect, build, and maintain scalable, secure, multi-regional cloud infrastructure on AWS
Own our Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, ensuring reproducibility and auditability
Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines across Jenkins and CircleCI, including iOS and Android build systems
Manage container orchestration via EC2/ECS/ECR and Kubernetes as well as ingress/routing through Traefik
Lead observability strategy using Grafana and Prometheus — ensuring comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
Drive high availability and disaster recovery planning across regions
Security & Compliance
Ensure infrastructure meets SOC 2, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials+ requirements
Implement and maintain robust security practices, including encryption at rest, in transit, and in use
Stay current on evolving compliance requirements for banking and professional services clients
Lead security audits and remediation efforts
Cost Management
Continuously monitor and optimize cloud spend, staying ahead of AWS pricing changes and leveraging reserved instances, savings plans, and right-sizing strategies
Establish cost visibility and accountability across teams
Present regular cost analyses and recommendations to leadership
People Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead the DevOps and infrastructure team
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career development
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where applicable
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports application needs
Communicate infrastructure strategy, risks, and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Participate in incident response and establish on-call practices that balance reliability with team well-being
Requirements:
7+ years of experience designing and operating infrastructure on major cloud providers, with deep AWS expertise
Proven experience leading or managing infrastructure/DevOps teams
Hands-on experience with the AWS Security Stack, including Inspector, GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, WAF, and related security services
Strong hands-on skills with Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, CircleCI)
Experience supporting mobile build pipelines (iOS/Android)
Deep understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Track record of infrastructure work in highly regulated industries such as banking or professional services
Sharp cost awareness, experience optimizing cloud spend and implementing FinOps practices
Strong application development understanding to collaborate effectively with developers
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences
Comfortable with incident management, on-call responsibilities, and leading teams through outages
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Security Specialty)
Experience with Traefik as an ingress controller
Familiarity with GCP or Azure as secondary cloud providers
Experience scaling infrastructure for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Background in or exposure to application development
