Your responsibilities::
• Report directly to the CEO and lead approximately 80 employees at multiple locations (Hamburg, Bremen, Lübeck, Dresden, as well as Portugal, Poland, and Albania) in five teams.  
• Take on a comprehensive leadership role that combines your technical expertise with commercial acumen.
• Be responsible for the overall architecture of our software solutions, both on the frontend and backend sides.  
• Ensure that development for project and product development is conducted in a cost-effective, timely, and quality-oriented manner.  
• Collaborate closely with the management team, maintaining strong ties with Sales to advise on technical feasibility and resource requirements during proposal processes.  
• Work closely with Product Management, which plays a key role in shaping the evolution of our solutions portfolio. At this interface, ensure optimal alignment of technical architecture, roadmaps, and development priorities.  
• Drive the transformation of our solutions portfolio by gradually introducing a multi-tenant, service-oriented architecture based on Java and PHP services.  
• Actively advance the gradual integration of AI technologies into our software solutions and development processes. Ensure that we systematically leverage technological opportunities, strengthen our competitive position, and empower our employees to confidently apply modern AI-based methods.  
• Continuously optimize the (agile) software development process.  
• Utilize the teams at our three nearshoring locations as flexible resource pools to efficiently address project-related peaks and additional development demands.  
• Monitor technological and market trends on an ongoing basis, deriving strategically meaningful adaptations to organizational and team structures to ensure a scalable and efficient development organization in the long term.  
• Support the qualification and development of your team members and provide space for innovation. By fostering a positive culture, you create the foundation for recruiting and selecting the best talents.

Your qualifications::
• A university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in an information or engineering-related field.  
• Extensive professional and leadership experience in agile software development.  
• Experience in a B2B environment.  
• Confidence in operating at a systems/architecture level.  
• Familiarity with Java and, ideally, PHP.  
• Proven ability to lead an international team with cultural sensitivity. Strong English language skills are required; German skills are desirable but not mandatory.
