Job Description
Position Overview:
The Head of Dealing is responsible for leading the dealing desk operations, overseeing trade execution, liquidity management, and risk control across FX, CFDs, and other financial instruments. The role ensures best execution for clients and the firm, maintains strong relationships with liquidity providers, and enforces robust risk management frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealing & Execution
Oversee daily dealing desk operations and execution quality across all products
Monitor pricing, spreads, and market depth to ensure competitiveness
Supervise order routing, hedging, and internalization strategies
Ensure best execution practices and fair client treatment
Risk Management
Develop and implement risk management policies and exposure limits
Monitor market, credit, and operational risks in real time
Liquidity Management
Manage relationships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, and venues
Leadership & Strategy
Lead, train, and develop the dealing team
Define KPIs and performance metrics for the desk
Contribute to product development and trading strategy
Collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology teams
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CySEC)
Maintain accurate reporting and audit trails
Support internal and external audits
Requirements:
7 years in FX/CFD dealing or trading roles
Proven experience managing a dealing desk
Strong knowledge of liquidity management
Deep understanding of FX and CFD markets
Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
Leadership and people management capabilities
Familiarity with trading platforms MT4/MT5, cTrater would be considered a plus
