MISSION:

We are seeking a visionary Regional Data Management Leader to manage data-driven initiatives across the region. This role involves developing and implementing data strategies that drive business value, ensuring data governance, and quality of data. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, data teams, and business units to align data capabilities with business objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership & Data Governance

• Develop and execute a regional data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Implement Group data governance frameworks to ensure high-quality, compliant, and secure data management within the region.
• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure governance and stewardship policies are upheld across the data platforms.
• Define and drive data policies, standards, and best practices across the region.
• Developing data profiling, data quality assessment, and cleansing activities to support accurate matching and linking of records.
• Oversee the adoption of emerging data trends, data technologies and innovations.

Business Impact & Enablement

• Ensure data infrastructure supports advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
• Measure the effectiveness of data strategies and optimize them for better business outcomes.
• Working with your regions developing Regional Data strategies, managing data sources, data integration, alternative data strategies
• Design and implement keying and linking architectures to enable accurate entity resolution and data deduplication across diverse data sources.
• Define and maintain data matching rules, and record linkage strategies in support of Multi-sourcing and product 360 initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical design for data integration.
• Develop and maintain metadata and data lineage for all data sources withing the region

Data Operations & Technology Integration

• Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure efficient data architecture and scalable data solutions for Regional data sources.
• Oversee the integration of regional and global data platforms, ensuring consistency and interoperability.
• Drive data automation

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or related roles, with a focus on leadership.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategies at a regional or enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Nice to see: Hands-on experience with data architecture, big data platforms, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as Proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python, R), BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI), and data management systems.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
