Overview of the Role

The Head of Data & Insights is a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for building and leading VBP’s data capability as a competitive advantage.

This role transforms data into strategic intelligence that drives business growth, operational excellence, and client value. As the architect of VBP’s insights function, this leader will establish the vision capability, and culture required to make data-driven decision-making a core organizational competency.

Main duties include:

• Define and execute the Data & Insights strategy aligned with the organization's business plan
• Build business cases for analytics investments and demonstrate measurable ROI
• Drive organizational change management to embed data-driven culture across all business units
• Lead analysis of strategic questions facing the business (operational performance and insights, new service offerings)
• Translate complex data into compelling narratives, dashboards, and presentations tailored to non-technical audiences

Requirements:
• 8-10 years of total experience
• 3-5 years experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment
• Proficiency in business intelligence platforms (Power BI or equivalent) with demonstrated ability to architect enterprise reporting solutions
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, validation, and complex query optimization
• Experience with modern data stack technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP, ETL/ELT tools, data pipeline orchestration)
