As we expand globally, we are launching BJAK in the United Kingdom, building a technology-led platform to simplify insurance selection, accelerate policy renewals, and improve transparency for consumers.
About the Role
The Head of Corporate Development – UK will play a critical role in driving BJAK’s strategic expansion and commercial growth in the United Kingdom.
This role focuses on identifying and executing high-impact growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, insurer relationships, market expansion initiatives, and new business opportunities.
You will work closely with senior leadership to shape BJAK’s UK strategy, support regulatory readiness and market entry, and build strong partnerships with insurers and ecosystem players to accelerate the company’s growth.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
Support the development and execution of BJAK’s UK market expansion strategy.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth.
Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and opportunity evaluation to inform strategic decision-making.
Insurer Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build and manage strategic relationships with insurers, underwriting partners, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
Identify, negotiate, and execute commercial partnerships that support BJAK’s distribution and product strategy.
Develop partnership frameworks that enable scalable integration and long-term collaboration.
Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives
Lead corporate development initiatives including strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and potential acquisitions.
Evaluate new business opportunities that expand BJAK’s capabilities, distribution channels, or product offerings.
Work closely with leadership to prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable commercial impact.
Product & Market Launch Support
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support the launch and localisation of BJAK’s platform in the UK.
Ensure insurer partnerships and integrations align with the platform’s product roadmap and customer experience.
Support the development of distribution strategies that accelerate product adoption.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between leadership, product, compliance, and external partners.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts required to launch and scale the UK business.
Represent BJAK in meetings with insurers, partners, and other stakeholders as required.
What You Will Need
7+ years of experience in corporate development, strategy, partnerships, consulting, or business development
Experience within insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology companies
Strong understanding of the UK insurance ecosystem and partnership landscape
Proven experience structuring and executing strategic partnerships or commercial deals
Strong analytical and commercial thinking with the ability to evaluate growth opportunities
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Compensation Range
We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from £120,000 to £170,000, reflecting experience and the strategic importance of this role, alongside performance-based incentives and long-term upside linked to business growth.
