Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Hosur
Industry: Manufacturing
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Controllership
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Controllership, Reporting and Compliance, with the ability to drive financial efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting & Compliance:• Oversee preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Strict adherence to Group Timelines
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Ensuring SOX compliances and validation of documents
• Budgeting & Forecasting for Cash Flow:• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts for Cash Flow
• Monitor variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Internal Controls & Audit:• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Collaborate with Cross Functional team for closure of Open Points
• Procure to Pay:• Oversee the entire P2P cycle, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor the P2P team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Accounts Receivable:• Oversee the AR process, including invoicing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash application.
• Monitor key metrics such as DSO, collection efficiency, and dispute resolution timelines.
• Ensuring accuracy in Reporting of Sales, Receivables, Over Dues and Forecasts.
• Process Improvement & Automation:• Drive automation initiatives to simplify processes and improve productivity.
• Implement best practices for financial systems and reporting.
• Review, assess, and approve all processes with financial implications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies and controls.
• Team Leadership:• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, sales) to drive financial efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of ten or more professionals across multiple locations, ensuring collaboration, consistency, and operational excellence in a multi-site environment.
• Experience of working in Oracle
• Expertise in Controllership, Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
