Job Description
Who we are
Properstar connects real estate buyers, renters and agents, here and everywhere. Buyers and renters find their next home with us, locally or across borders. Agents reach them in countries they couldn't otherwise sell into, in languages they don't speak.
Our Product & Marketing department grows the brand and our footprint. Small team, no fluff. We acquire new users, nurture them, qualify them, turn them into customers. We believe in a new way of working, where AI is fundamental: you direct, you don't execute.
About the job
You own content end to end. The blog, the newsletters, the social channels, the PR, the product marketing narrative, the link strategy. Across markets, across languages. With AI doing the heavy lifting and you steering it.
Content at Properstar isn't decoration. It's how we rank, how we earn trust, how we explain what we do to buyers, renters, and agents who've never heard of us. You decide what we say and how we say it.
You'll lead a team of one to two. You report to the CPO.
What you'll do
Own the content strategy. What we publish, where, in which language, for whom, and why. Make every piece pull its weight.
- Run the blog at scale. Editorial calendar, briefs, production, distribution. In every market we play in, in every language we serve.
- Ship newsletters that people actually open. B2C and B2B. Segmented, relevant, on time.
- Own product marketing. Translate features into stories. Help buyers, renters and agents understand what's new and why they should care.
- Run social. Pick the channels that matter for our markets. Build presence that compounds, not vanity posts.
- Own PR and external communication. Pitches, press lists, narrative work, crisis response if needed. You're the voice when we need one.
- Build the link strategy. Earned, partnered, programmatic. Make it serve SEO without making it spam.
- Build the playbooks. Encode them as Claude skills so the team and the agents can run them.
- Brief, review, iterate. Agents handle production. You handle the thinking.
- Lead the team. Set the direction, raise the bar, unblock them, ship together.
- Talk to customers. Look at the data yourself. Bring back what you learn.
What we're looking for
Content track record. You've built and run content programs that moved real metrics — traffic, leads, brand search, share of voice — in a multi-country, multi-language setup. Real numbers, real graph. Show us.
Range. Blog, newsletter, social, PR, product marketing, linking. You don't have to be world-class at all of them, but you've owned several and have strong opinions on the rest.
Editorial judgment. You can tell a good headline from a clever one. You know when to lean into SEO and when to write for humans. You've killed pieces that weren't ready.
SEO instinct. You understand how content earns rankings, how it earns links, and how it converts. You work hand in hand with growth, not against them.
Deep AI fluency. Claude is your daily driver, in Cowork and Code. You've built skills, you know how to orchestrate agents, you can tell us what you automated this month. "Open to AI" doesn't pass the bar. You're already operating that way. Multilingual content at scale isn't a problem for you — it's what the agents do.
Data-driven. Data doesn't lie. You measure what works, kill what doesn't, and don't ship content you can't account for.
Hands-on. You write the briefs, edit the drafts, pick the topics, pitch the journalists. No layers between you and the work.
Craft. You notice details that matter. You can tell content that earns attention from content that fills a calendar.
Judgment. You can decide with incomplete information. You don't wait for an A/B test to know what's good.
Ownership. You take a problem from brief to result. No handoffs. Small team, full stack.
Leadership. You manage one to two people. You raise the bar without micromanaging. You make your team better and faster.
Clarity. You explain things simply. You don't hide weak ideas behind charts. You respect other people's time.
What we don't care about
Where your degree is from. Bachelor preferred, not required. Track record beats papers.
How polished your LinkedIn is. We read what you've shipped.
Whether you've worked at a brand we recognize. The best operators we've met came from companies you haven't heard of.
Logistics
Remote. Anywhere within +/- 3h of CET.
Type: Full-time, permanent contractor.
What we offer
A content function to own end to end. No committees, no hand-holding.
A team already shipping, ready to be led well.
The AI stack you'd struggle to assemble elsewhere. Claude (Cowork and Code), Mixpanel, HubSpot. All paid for, all yours.
A title with weight. You report to the CPO in a flat hierarchy that values ownership.
Competitive comp aligned with your market.
