Job Summary:
The Head of Client Operations will lead our Client Operations function.
What You Will Do:
The role is a senior leadership one with full accountability for NOC, Network and Field Operations, combining strategic people management with hands-on technical oversight across a 24/7 service environment.
Requirements:
Job Responsibilities
• Lead three operational domains — NOC, Network Operations and Field Operations — with direct management of team leads and senior staff
• Own 24/7 operational governance, including shift planning, rota management and service continuity
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, liaising with internal teams, customers and senior stakeholders
• Set and maintain SOPs and governance frameworks to ensure consistent, SLA-driven service delivery
• Lead team development — including hiring, onboarding and coaching — building a high-performing operations function
• Champion continuous improvement through automation, structured reporting and process optimisation
Qualifications and Work Experience
• Candidates must demonstrate strong, working technical knowledge across the following:
• Networking & Routing TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Route Redistribution, NAT, ACLs, VLANs, STP, QoS, IP Addressing and Subnetting, WAN Failover and Resiliency
• SD-WAN & Security SD-WAN Architecture and Operations, VPN Technologies, FortiGate / Fortinet firewall policy and security operations
• Vendor Platforms Cisco (CCNP-level proficiency), Huawei (enterprise and SP environments), Juniper (JunOS-based routing and switching), Palo Alto Networks (NGFW and security policy), Check Point (firewall management and threat prevention)
• Monitoring & Observability Zabbix, Grafana, Alerting Workflows, Event Handling, Dashboard Management
• Tooling & Reporting Power Automate, Microsoft Excel, Operational Reporting and Analy
What We're Looking For
• The ideal candidate will combine operational leadership maturity with deep technical credibility — a proven track record in 24/7 NOC or network operations, CCNP-level networking knowledge, and the communication skills to engage confidently with customers, engineers and senior management. Experience with NOCaaS, critical infrastructure or multi-customer managed services is a strong advantage.
