About the role
As the Head of Business Development (Ticketing and Transportation) for SG,MY,HKMA,CN markets you will be responsible for:
Strategizing growing key accounts for SG,MY,HKMA,CN markets for ticketing and transportation segment
Collaborate with marketing team for promotion campaigns promotions to drive customer acquisition and maximize revenue growth
Provide overall leadership to BD team to drive alignment on business strategies and create an environment where you will empower your teams to strive for innovation, embrace change, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit.
To be successful in this role, you must:
You must have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify drive short-term and long-term BD opportunities to drive GMV & Profit growth
Be a strategic thinker yet hands on executor, solid relationship with partners / suppliers and a passion for travel tech industry.
Able to collaborate with both internal and external team stakeholders to support business objectives
Experienced in leading BD team to meet business objectives
Job responsibilities
Deliver BD business profitable growth
Analyze SG,MY,HKMA,CN competitive environment and performance to identify areas of BD opportunities and potential threats
Develop and implement a consistent BD business plan and budget, sales and pricing strategies.
Lead BD team to identify, negotiate and communicate contract terms with key suppliers to seal agreements.
Strategic Account Management
Communicate business strengths and brand value to partners / suppliers
Engage key partners / suppliers and providing the best solutions to address their business needs and maximise their GMV / Profit potential with ticket and transportation vertical
Understand key partners / supplier’s products and collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing campaign to drive effectiveness
Stakeholders / Team leadership
Lead, motivate and inspire BD team to develop and execute BD plans.
Build & maintain key partners / suppliers contracts & network
Work with BD team to collaborate internal team including marketing, operations, finance, customer service
We would love to hear from you if…
You have a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, Business Management or Marketing preferred
You have previous work experience (Ideally 10 years) in a Business development or equivalent role, ideally in a high growth environment, OTA or hotel industry (include leading BD Team)
Experience in developing BD strategy to acquire key suppliers & collaborate with marketing team on marketing campaigns with proven record
Good understanding of travel industry and strong industry networks
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a fast pace, startup environment.
Highly effective communication and influencing skills with a fluency in local language as well as English.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving and presentation skills
You have excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills help you to liaise, cooperate and influence with multiple stakeholders
Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Proactively seek innovative opportunities to drive sales.
