Role Summary

This role owns the entire ecosystem of how the brands show up publicly and organically—PR, partnerships, affiliate, social media, and community engagement. The goal is to build brand trust, drive conversation, activate creators and affiliates, and generate earned reach and revenue. This team is responsible for building authentic storytelling, nurturing communities, and creating programs that fuel growth across organic and partnership channels.

What You’ll Do

PR & Brand Communications

Develop the PR strategy for all brands, including proactive storytelling, reactive communications, and brand reputation management.

Build media relationships across lifestyle, tech, fitness/wellness, parenting, home, and specialty verticals.

Oversee press releases, pitches, product seeding kits, and editorial calendars.

Ensure brand messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with each brand’s identity.

Influencer & Partnership Strategy

Lead the creator strategy across macro, micro, and nano influencers to support awareness, UGC, and commerce needs.

Build always-on influencer programs, campaign-based partnerships, and ambassador networks.

Negotiate contracts, manage deliverables, evaluate creator performance, and drive scale through repeatable programs.

Affiliate Program Leadership

Oversee affiliate acquisition, onboarding, payouts, commissions, program tiering, and campaign planning.

Manage agency collaboration to identify new partners, optimize revenue-driving affiliates, and increase program ROI.

Integrate affiliate with influencer, PR, and social for unified outreach.

Social Media & Community Management

Lead channel strategy, content pillars, posting cadence, and platform-specific tactics.

Partner with Creative to develop engaging assets that support UGC, storytelling, and campaigns.

Manage community conversations, comments, direct messaging, and proactive community-building moments.

Identify and nurture super-fans, advocates, and micro-communities for each brand.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Align with Performance on creator whitelisting, paid amplification, and content performance insights.

Partner with Retention to support lifecycle campaigns with social/UGC assets and community insight.

Work with Creative to ensure PR/social/affiliate assets meet brand standards.

Provide ongoing feedback loops that inform brand strategy, product development, and category insights.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

Track KPIs across reach, engagement, sentiment, creator ROI, affiliate revenue, and PR placements.

Measure channel contribution to awareness, acquisition, and retention.

Test emerging platforms, communities, and partnership models to expand brand reach.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in PR, partnerships, social media, community, influencer marketing, or affiliate marketing, preferably in DTC, consumer brands, or eCommerce

Proven experience managing PR programs and agencies, including media relations, press strategy, and brand storytelling

Hands-on experience with affiliate programs, including creator/affiliate hybrids, partner recruitment, commission structures, and performance tracking

Strong background in influencer and creator partnerships, from seeding and gifting to paid collaborations and long-term ambassador programs

Demonstrated ability to grow and manage social media channels and online communities, with a focus on engagement and brand voice (not just posting)

Comfortable working cross-functionally with Creative, Performance Marketing, Retention, and Brand teams

Experience managing and developing small teams and external agencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent brands externally

Data-literate: able to interpret performance metrics across social, affiliate, PR, and partnerships and translate them into action

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment

Experience in multi-brand or portfolio environments strongly preferred
