The Company:

Travelfusion is a leading global flight content aggregator connecting online travel agencies, corporate booking tools, and travel platforms to hundreds of airlines worldwide through our innovative API technology. We specialise in both LCC (Low-Cost Carrier) and full-service airline connectivity, including NDC and direct API solutions, driving efficiency, choice, and revenue for our partners.

As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking a commercially astute Head of Airline Partnerships, APAC to execute the airline commercial strategy and deliver sustained revenue growth within the Asia-Pacific region.

The Role:
The Head of Airline Partnerships, APAC will be responsible for executing the regional airline partnership strategy, managing key accounts, and driving commercial growth across the Asia-pacific region. This role will focus on enhancing airline connectivity and fostering long-term relationships with airline commercial and distribution teams within APAC. Reporting to the Global Head of Airline Partnerships, you will be crucial in aligning the APAC airline strategy with the company’s global vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial strategy
: Execute the APAC regional airline commercial strategy aligned with company growth objectives

Team management:
Manage and mentor a small, regional airline partnerships team to deliver against KPIs and strategic goals.

Strategic partnership management:
Identify and prioritise strategic airline partners within the APAC region, including LCC, FSC, hybrid carriers, and regional airlines. 

Product enhancements
: Provide regional input to product teams on NDC adoption, API enhancements, and ancillary integration to meet specific APAC airline needs

Deliver against KPIs
: Manage the regional partnership revenue and deliver against APAC revenue targets, yield, and market share trends.

Cross team collaboration
: Ensure cross-team collaboration with product, engineering, commercial and marketing functions to ensure partner satisfaction and drive incremental sales within the region.

About you:

Travel background
: 5-8 years of airline, GDS, OTA, or travel technology experience, with experience in a regional commercial leadership or senior account management role.

Expert Negotiator:
Proven track record in airline commercial negotiations and partnership management within the APAC region

Experienced team leader:
A motivational leader with a track record of mentoring a small regional team to drive high performance.

Deep industry knowledge:
Good understanding of airline distribution models, including NDC, API connectivity and ancillary retailing

Regional expertise:
Deep knowledge and understanding of the APAC ecosystem with strong regional network within APAC airline commercial, distribution and revenue management teams. 

Strategic thinker: 
Strategic thinker with good analytical and commercial acumen.

Travel:
Willingness to travel within the APAC region 20-30% of the time
