Job Description
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy, based at Lanseria International Airport.
The primary objective of the position is to expand the managed fleet through strategic client acquisition in the African market region and globally.
Key responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic accounts (existing and new) to drive long term relationships
Market and promote aircraft management products and services globally
Support the commercial business plan on revenue growth, profitability and cashflow
Coordinate and oversee customer service programmes to ensure owner satisfaction
Oversee all legal agreements relating to aircraft management including operations and, lease agreements, ownership structures and crew services etc
Project manage the induction and delivery of aircraft into the fleet, ensuring seamless entry into service
Liaise with legal advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory frameworks both local and international
Manage and oversee aircraft registration process including engagement with relevant registries
Provide oversight of aircraft insurance matters in coordinating with insurers and brokers
Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
Educational
Business Degree/MBA/ or equivalent
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Driver’s License
Experience
3 – 5 Years’ experience in a corporate business to business sales or commercial environment, preferably involving high value assets and services
General Aviation experience and /or strong working knowledge of the aviation industry essential
Demonstrated understanding of aircraft management programmes and aircraft operational structures
Working knowledge of aircraft technical considerations, insurance requirements, registration processes, and aviation legislation
Proven ability to network, influence and negotiate at board and owner level
