The Head of Data Technology for Finance is a senior technology leader with deep experience in Data platforms, large‑scale data management, and technology. The role combines strong technology expertise with proven capability across AI, data science, advanced analytics, and hybrid (on‑prem and cloud) environments. This leader enables a future‑ready Finance function by delivering scalable, governed, and auditable data platforms that support both today’s regulatory obligations and tomorrow’s intelligent, insight‑driven Finance capabilities.
• First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology
• Experience leading enterprise platforms, with Microsoft Fabric as the strategic Finance data platform experience in Data would be preferred.
• Experience in IT Service management, Engineering practices, as well as modern software development lifecycle practices with strong architectural capability across ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and consumption layers
• Experience enabling AI, data science, and advanced analytics within Finance (e.g. forecasting, anomaly detection, automated insights)
• Hands‑on leadership across both on‑premises and cloud data technologies, including hybrid transition states as well as integration between data sources
• Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams
