Incredible opportunity for a full-time Head Chef with Browns Restaurant Group!
This position offers long-term leadership development and career advancement within a fast-growing full-service restaurant company in Canada (Browns Restaurant Group/BRG). We are looking to someone who is passionate about food as well as training and developing people around them. They will have kitchen management experience, be professional with their communication and attitude, and foster a fun and collaborative work environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Execute BRG systems and operations.
Serve consistently excellent food to our specifications.
Champion and lead menu rollouts to the kitchen team, including training of new menu items and product updates.
Manage food, kitchen labour, and other kitchen-related costs.
Lead an immaculate kitchen and follow food safety practices.
Continually train, develop and inspire kitchen staff.
Support training at new store openings, as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING:
1+ years' Kitchen Management experience.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates a professional attitude, while fostering a fun, collaborative environment.
Adapts quickly to a changing work environment.
Availability to work flexible hours.
Kitchen systems focus in a corporate environment.
Possess a passion for quality food and an eye for detail.
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Current WHMIS, First Aid, Food Safe Level 1 and 2 (will provide training).
