We are seeking a senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead test automation for healthcare-focused applications. This role will design and implement end-to-end automated test strategies for UI and API layers using C# and modern test automation tools, while ensuring secure, reliable delivery of critical healthcare features.

This is an opportunity to shape testing frameworks, apply GenAI to accelerate test development and realistic data generation, and collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams to raise quality standards across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated UI test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright with C# .
• Develop and maintain API test automation for REST and GraphQL endpoints using Postman and code-based frameworks.
• Build and evolve BDD and TDD test frameworks using SpecFlow and Cucumber patterns.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and GenAI tools to accelerate test script creation and generate realistic test data.
• Develop and execute performance and load testing scenarios using JMeter, Locust, or k6.
• Design test cases, validation checks, and test data pipelines for reliable, repeatable test runs.
• Implement risk-based testing approaches and maintain defect tracking throughout the lifecycle.
• Validate secure API behavior and authentication flows consistent with healthcare requirements.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering, product, and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI pipelines.
• Mentor engineers on strong testing principles and drive continuous improvement of test practices.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in automated testing or SDET roles with increasing scope and ownership.
• Strong programming skills in C# and practical experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and GraphQL APIs and using Postman for API validation.
• Experience designing and executing performance/load tests with JMeter, Locust, or k6.
• Solid SQL skills and practical experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience applying BDD and TDD practices; familiarity with SpecFlow and Cucumber-style workflows.
• GenAI Proficiency using GitHub Copilot or similar GenAI tools to support test creation.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, defect tracking, and risk-based testing.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Strong testing principles, Deep understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., test case design, defect tracking, risk-based testing) to ensure high coverage and reliability.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps and familiarity with Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance considerations for testing healthcare data.
• Experience with OAuth2 or OpenID Connect for secure API testing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft AutoGen.
