Job Description

4P’s, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, operates 40 worldwide restaurants. Our main restaurant, Pizza 4P’s, has 35 stores in Vietnam and manages global franchises like IPPUDO and ABOUT LIFE COFFEE BREWERS. Our core products are food and beverages, specifically pizza, with key differentiators of "House-made cheeses", "Earth-to-people" and "Omotenashi" hospitality.

Pizza 4P’s is an innovative Vietnam-based Japanese Italian pizza restaurant that started in Vietnam with a simple yet powerful mission: “Delivering Wow, Sharing Happiness”. We are known for crafting artisanal pizzas, homemade cheese, and unique East-meets-West flavors while embracing sustainability and community impact at the heart of everything we do. Today, we operate restaurants across Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, India and Indonesia, and continue to grow with a vision of bringing people together through memorable dining experiences.

I. ROLE PURPOSE

The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.

II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Project Planning and Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, designers, and other consultants to ensure project requirements are met.

• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

• Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

2. Site Supervision and Quality Control

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues.

• Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project timelines and safety protocols.

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

• Review and approve material samples and workmanship.

3. Budget and Cost Management

• Review and verify contractor invoices and progress claims.

• Manage change orders and variations, ensuring proper documentation and approval.

• Monitor project expenses and ensure they remain within the approved budget.

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

1. Project Completion on Time

Measure the ability to complete projects within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Key Influencing Factors for KPI Achievement Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Achievement of KPIs depends heavily on collaboration with Store Operations, Regional teams, and other HQ departments for data sharing, process alignment, and implementation support.
• Success requires effective partnership with external vendors, consultants, or service providers for specialized expertise or system maintenance.
• Timely response and cooperation from business stakeholders (e.g., Department Heads, Store Managers) are critical for completing assessments, approvals, or feedback cycles.

Geographic, Cultural, or Market Factors Must adapt programs to local cultural context (Vietnam) while aligning with global standards to ensure relevance and adoption.

IV. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum Experience Duration 3-5 years of experience

Relevant Experience

• Required: 3+ years in project engineering or construction management.

• Preferred: Experience in the F&B or retail industry.

Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration

• Required: Experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to implement talent strategies.

Industry or Domain Expertise

• Required: Experience in F&B or service-driven industries.
