• Practical training in SAE Fundamentals of Electrical Wiring Design, aligned with automotive/aerospace wiring standards.
• English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Creation and update of 2D/3D interior designs, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings under supervision.
• Assistance in Bill of Materials creation, revisions, and documentation.
• Support in troubleshooting design discrepancies.
• Ensuring data integrity within CAD tools and electrical schematic systems.
• Participation in design reviews and vehicle integration forums.
• Running structural performance evaluations using Altair’s SimSolid.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification for process improvement and design quality KPIs.
• Knowledge of CAE principles; familiarity with Altair SimSolid preferable.
• Leading interior, electrical, or wiring harness and schematic design activities with minimal supervision.
• Validating electrical loads, routing feasibility, and compliance with standards.
• Running structural performance evaluations using Altair’s SimSolid.
• Reviewing and validating Jr. Design Service Units Hours outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Providing input during design reviews to ensure first-pass quality.
• Coordinating with suppliers on manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Participation in PDTs with Design Leaders (DLT) and Design Release Engineers (DRE).
• Active involvement in Vehicle Compartment Integration Team (CIT) reviews.
