Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years.
We are looking for a Hardware Validation Technician to support our client's team onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full-time (W-2) 6 month contract role. We offer competitive pay $30/hr - $48/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
What you'll be doing:
• System Recovery, Flashing & Readiness
• Triage issues, capture basic logs, and escalate appropriately.
• Bench/Rack/System Setup & Maintenance
• Support OS vetting and OEM software validation
• Prepare systems for performance, power, display, connectivity, and other validation scenarios.
• Parts, Rework & RMA Coordination
• Asset Tracking, Reservations & Documentation
What We Need to See:
• 3+ years as a lab or system technician supporting PC/SoC or embedded platforms.
• Hands-on skill with imaging, BIOS/firmware flashing, and basic debug (console, boot media, cabling).
• Familiarity with lab operations, reservation systems, asset tracking, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and documentation discipline.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and mixed-environment validation workflows.
• Exposure to display/USB-C/PD/power bring-up workflows.
• Experience coordinating with hardware rework teams and managing RMA cycles.
