Handyman / Maintenance Technician, full-time

City Wide Facility Solutions Vancouver is looking for a reliable and experienced Full-Time Handyman to join our growing team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general handyman and light maintenance services, including:
• Minor repairs (doors, hardware, drywall, trim, fixtures, etc.)
• Basic carpentry and installations
• Ceiling tile replacement
• Light plumbing repairs (faucets, leaks, fixtures)
• Light electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets – as permitted)
• Furniture assembly and installation

• Complete service calls, punch-list items, and small projects
• Conduct preventative maintenance and general upkeep
• Work across multiple commercial sites (offices, medical, schools, industrial)
• Coordinate with facility managers and internal team
• Respond to urgent or time-sensitive service requests when needed

Requirements:
• Proven experience in handyman or general maintenance (required)
• Broad skill set across multiple trades
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently
• Strong communication and professionalism when interacting with clients
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred:

• Experience in commercial environments
• Ability to complete multiple service types in one visit
• Responsive and reliable under time-sensitive conditions
