Role Overview:
The Handyman will support the Engineering team in maintaining the Convention Center’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests, clients, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building works.
• Assist technicians and engineers with preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify repair needs or safety hazards.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Support event setup requirements related to basic technical and facility needs.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in plant rooms and maintenance areas.
• Report major faults or technical issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
