💰 SALARY: +/- $30/hour (based on experience)

🛠️ General Maintenance and Workplace Improvement Worker

We are looking for a versatile, hands-on, and autonomous employee primarily responsible for cleaning and visually enhancing our facilities. This role ensures cleanliness, order, and a professional appearance throughout our sites by carrying out various general maintenance tasks, painting, and minor repairs.

🔧 Main Responsibilities:

🔨 Perform basic repairs: plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, carpentry, replacing light fixtures, etc.

📋 Manage building maintenance requests and prioritize interventions based on urgency and operational impact.

🧼 Carry out cleaning and housekeeping in various areas (cafeterias, offices, common areas, restrooms, etc.) according to established standards.

🚶‍♂️🚗 Move between buildings on foot, by cart, or with a service vehicle (depending on distance).

🪚 Perform manual repair or improvement tasks (reinstalling shelves, furniture adjustments, minor upkeep).

✨ Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

🤝 Collaborate with the building maintenance team when needed.

🚜 Operate mobile equipment as required: aerial lift, forklift.

⚡ Adapt to changing and urgent requests in a dynamic environment.

🗂️ Manage your schedule autonomously and prioritize tasks according to needs.

🌞 Day shift schedule (flexible based on projects or occasional urgent needs)

🏭 Work in various environments (offices, plants, warehouses)

🧰 Equipment provided according to tasks to be performed

✅ Profile & Requirements:

🛠️ 5 to 7 years of experience (maintenance or related field)

🤲 Strong manual skills and practical sense

🔍 Attention to detail, thoroughness, and commitment to quality work

🚀 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

💪 Good physical condition and willingness to work hard

😊 Positive attitude, versatility, and strong team spirit

🎨 Experience in painting or general maintenance (an asset)

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
