MUST HAVE:
• 5+ years experience as a Hadoop Admin/Architect including:
• Big Data &Hadoop implementations
• Working withHadoop Big Data through all phases of systems development including problem definition, analysis, solution conceptualization, requirement definition, technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support adhering to development methodology and development best practices
• Installation, upgrade, patching, configuration and support (hardware and software) for the various Hadoop components including but not limited to: Hadoop, Flume, Hbase, Hcatalog, Hive, Hue, Impala, Mahout, Oozie, Pig, Cloudera Search, Sentry, Spark, Sqoop, Whirr, ZooKeeper and Cloudera Manager
• Experience interacting with the business teams that Hadoop/Big Data impacts to ensure their needs are being met
• Managing user security and groups for permissions within HDFS and understands File ACLs
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Experience managing priorities and workload
• Backup and recovery/disaster recovery knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Comp Sci or related field
