Position : Hadoop Ecosystem Architect

Location: Richardson, TX

Type : Full Time Permanent

Job Description :

• Should have 10+ Experience in IT and DW environment preferably on Teradata and Oracle Data warehousing platforms

• Must have at least 4+ years of experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Map Reduce, Yarn, etc.)

• Should have experience working with HBase, Casandra, Sqoop, or other NoSQL technologies

• Strong coding background in Core Java- Strong knowledge of scripting including Python, shell scripting

• Must have worked on designing and building large scale data lakes coexistent with enterprise datawarehouse

• Should be able to help IT & Business Customers in building a roadmap and strategy to transition into a Big Data journey with strong ROI

• Should have strong techno-functional skill to efficiently conceptualize business scenarios into BigData Use Cases

• Retail and Healthcare Domain knowledge is an added advantage.
