Qualifications :

Basic :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred :

• At least 2 years of experience in Big Data space.

• Strong Hadoop – MAP REDUCE/Hive/Pig/SQOOP/OOZIE - MUST

• Candidate should have hands on experience with Java, APIs, spring – MUST

• Good exposure to columnar NoSQL DBs like HBase.

• Complex High Volume High Velocity projects end to end delivery experience

• Good experience with at least one of the scripting language like Scala, Python.

• Good exposure to BigData architectures.

• Experience with some framework building experience on Hadoop

• Very good understanding of Big Data eco system

• Experience with sizing and estimating large scale big data projects

• Good with DB knowledge with SQL tuning experience.

• Experience with Impala

• Good exposure to Splunk

• Good exposure to Kafka

• Experience with Apache Parquet Data format

• Past experience and exposure to ETL and data warehouse projects

• Experience with Spark, Flume

• Cloudera/ Hortonworks certified

Job Description:

Qualifications Basics:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

• At least 16+ years of experience as a Big Data and Analytics Architect with very good communication skills

• Experience in Real time Data ingestion in Kafka, Spark , CEP engines, Storm and Hadoop stack

• Hands-on/working knowledge on Azure.

• Hands on Java skills is required

• Experience in Solution Architecting, Information architecture planning & design

• Experience in Tool Evaluation, Roadmap definitions and Architectural roadmap recommendations.

• Experience in managing large Bigdata platforms / Applications / Programs , performance tuning and cluster management.

• Experience in setting up Bigdata Governance framework and implementing the same across organizations having bigdata plaforms

• Ability to Conduct workshops and solution review sessions with business and IT stakeholders & drive clarity as required

• Experience in managing and strategizing consumption for users on BigData and BI applications.

• Experience in Big Data, NoSQL Databases

• Understanding of statistical modeling and Analytics with R, SAS, Spark ML etc is preferable.

• Should be proficient in data architecture, data marts and dimensional modeling

• Having experience in Auto / Connected Car is an added advantage.
