Job Description:

We need an administrator who will assist in installation and configuration of BigIntegrate (BIBQ) software. This software will be used for ETL processing on BigInsights.

SmartRide application area needs to transition to approved ETL tool and stop manual coding. This is planned for Nov rollout and hence need assistance in interim. Provide NW associates in installing the software. Assist in BigIntegrate with BigInsights / Hadoop. Share best practices on BigIntegrate implementation and rollout. Provide staff augmentation services to perform installation and rollout of IBM Infosphere Data Stage on a Hadoop platform (BIBQ). We need a resource with Data Stage expertise as well as Hadoop awareness. Experience with Data Stage architecture, administration and support is preferred. Best practices to deploy DataStage and facilitate project on-boarding is a plus.

Leads in the most complex and critical systems engineering projects involving multiple disciplines and may impact multiple business units. Acts as a formal and/or informal mentor to less experienced associates.

Proven knowledge in advanced operating and personal computer systems. Must have an in-depth understanding in multiple hardware and software platforms, products and applications. Proven knowledge in technical diagnostic and analytical tools. Extensive knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required. Thoroughly understands incident and problem management processes.

1. Serves as the top level technical expert in the analysis, design, development and implementation of the most complex solutions, modifications, or enhancements to existing hardware/software applications or a suite of integrated operating systems for the company and/or a particular business unit. Identifies and defines new hardware/software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations.

2. Leads in the design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation of the most complex hardware/software components, tools, and utilities including databases, middleware, and personal computer systems.

3. Serves as the top level technical expert in all aspects of the most complex systems hardware/software engineering projects, which involve multiple disciplines and platforms and impact multiple business units or perhaps the entire company.

4. Leads the configuration management, technical vendor management, problem mitigation, change management, and critical situation management to the most complex systems as well as their multiple platforms and software applications.

5. Serves as the top level technical expert for configuration/capacity planning, software product evaluation, systems performance analysis and optimizations for software/hardware systems.
