About the position

We're giving you the keys to the machine. As our first Hacker in Residence, you'll have a founder-level mandate to identify, build, and ship internal tools that make our hiring, finance and ops workflows 10x faster. You pick the stack, you pick the AI models, you ship when it's ready. No committees, no red tape.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship internal tools fast — we're talking days and weeks, not quarters

• Leverage LLMs, AI agents, and modern no-code/low-code tooling wherever it makes us faster

• Create compounding leverage — every tool you build should free up hours across the entire company

• Write clean, maintainable code that integrates with our existing systems — APIs, databases, third-party services — and doesn't break at scale

• Own your deployments end-to-end: build it, test it, ship it, monitor it — and you build it well enough that it runs reliably

Requirements

• Technical background with real building experience — CS degree, bootcamp, self-taught, we don't care as long as you've shipped things that work

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and modern AI frameworks — you're not just reading about it, you're building with it daily

• Proven track record of building internal tools or automation end-to-end — from scoping the problem, writing the code, to deploying and maintaining it in production

• You move fast, communicate clearly, and love collaborating with non-technical teams to understand their pain points and turn them into elegant, automated solutions

• Bonus: experience with tools like LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI API, Make, n8n, Retool, Supabase, or similar — but we care more about your ability to pick up any new AI tool in a weekend
