Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office and Housekeeping operations on a casual basis
This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
• Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
• Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records
Shift Details (subject to change):
• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday 
• Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $33.38 per hour
Saturday: $40.05 per hour
Sunday: $46.73 per hour
Successful candidates will have:
• Previous hospitality experience across Front Office and Housekeeping would be highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
