Job Description

This is not a typical sales role. We’re hiring full- or part-time, multilingual onsite GTM Associates (English + an additional European language) to join our team in Aarhus ASAP.

You’ll become part of an ambitious, fast-growing, VC-backed AI startup where you’ll kick-start your go-to-market career and play a key role in driving our expansion across Europe. Responsibilities and daily work

• Help design, test, and execute our go-to-market strategy across new markets and customer segments

• Drive proactive outreach to e-commerce and B2B companies and contribute to validating our market hypotheses

• Act as a trusted advisor and frontline ambassador to potential customers, serving as the first point of contact and building awareness of our solutions

• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline with discipline and structure in our CRM system

• Develop a deep understanding of the product to translate features into clear, tangible customer value

• Bring insights from the field directly into our product and GTM strategy — your input will help shape what we build and how we sell it

• Work closely with the founding team, leadership, sales, and operations

Who you are and requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or commercial roles (SaaS experience is a bonus)

• Highly motivated by responsibility, ownership and progression — you want to grow fast and earn more responsibility over time

• Energised by outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn, and driven by starting conversations rather than waiting for leads

• Comfortable owning the top of the funnel end-to-end: lead research, first contact, follow-ups and meeting booking

• Curious about data and eager to understand what drives market traction, conversion and successful outreach

• Competitive by nature and motivated by clear goals, feedback and continuous improvement

• Open to direct feedback and coaching, and willing to put in the work required to develop rapidly

• Thrive in fast-paced environments with autonomy, high expectations and little hand-holding

• Able to work 20–40 hours per week

• Fluent in English and at least one additional European language

Progression: High performers can expect rapid development into roles such as Account Executive, Leadership roles or Market Owner within 6–12 months, depending on performance and company needs. We have designed a detailed plan for ramp-up and how to grow successfully which we will share more about during interviews. Salary will consist of a base + commission variable.

Cernel is building the next generation of ecommerce infrastructure with AI-powered agents that automate complex tasks and connect workflows across systems. We’re developing an advanced agent framework that analyzes data, makes decisions, and drives performance - giving ecommerce teams better results, higher conversions, and more time for creative work.

Currently, we are a team of 17 people woking from our brand new HQ office at Frederiksbjerg, Aarhus. We are hard-working, caring, and positive towards each other. We all want to build an amazing organisation, product and working culture.
