The Difference You Make:
The GTB Product Specialist serves as an expert responsible for origination support of trade & working capital transactions clients. They manage the transactions from origination through execution and liaises with Relationship Manager on marketing plans (in liaison with the Head of Trade & Working Capital USA).

• Serves as expert in corporate banking products and trade & working capital services, competitor product lines and commercial compliance regulations for the team.
• Responsible for origination support of trade & working capital transactions with US and overseas borrowers.
• Develops internal relationships in support areas critical to getting GTB deals booked legal, risk, compliance and operations.
• Establishes procedures to accommodate new transactions.
• Maintains reports to track GTB transactions booked in Santander in terms of exposure, revenue and monitoring requirements.
• Promotes and develops working relationship with Financial Institution Banking team to provide GTB product support on structured transactions originated from that client base.
• Manages the transactions from origination through execution and liaises with GAOs on marketing plans (in liaison with the Head of Trade& Working Capital USA).

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance or equivalent field. - Required.
• 3-7 years of Product Development, Business Development or related experience. - Required.
• Expert in corporate banking products and trade finance & working capital services, competitor product lines and commercial compliance regulations.
• Trade & working capital coverage to be provided for financial institution clients. Financial institution coverage experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, risk evaluation, loan documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and leverage professional relationships internally and externally.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and ability to quickly learn new software and or systems.
• Superior client relationship, marketing presentation and sales/closing skills.
• Excellent business development and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain and demonstrate high ethical standards and personal integrity to build credibility and trust while enhancing the organization’s reputation.
• Ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features.
• Self-starter: forward thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude.
• Demonstrates the ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product.
• Demonstrated understanding of product development life cycle.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$185,000.00 USDMaximum:

$220,000.00 USD
